ESCATAWPA, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say one man died and another wounded in a double shooting in the Escatawpa community sparked by an altercation between two men at their jobs that spilled over into the streets after hours.
Jackson County Sheriff Charles Britt tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1kQxnMP ) the two men left work Wednesday night and went to Roberts Road, where they apparently ended their feud in an exchange of gunfire.
Deputy Shane Langfitt says the dead man was found in his car, but the car had rolled forward after he was shot, hitting a power pole and snapping it in half.
The second man was found wounded in the passenger side of his vehicle. He was taken to Singing River Hospital.
The identities of the two men have not been released.
