NEW YORK (AP) - Tahoe Tigress rallied to beat Miss Besilu by two lengths Thursday in the $80,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

Jose Ortiz angled the 5-year-old into contention with a four-wide move rounding the turn. She eagerly kicked clear at the top of the stretch for her seventh win in 16 starts.

The time was 1:43.94 for 1 1/16 miles on the fast track.

Tahoe Tigress, trained by Jeremiah Englehart, improved to 7 for 16, paying $7.70, $4.30 and $3.20 as the 5-2 third choice.

Miss Besilu returned $6.10 and $3.70, and Oasis At Midnight paid $6.50 to show.
