BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a Fairfield man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison in a drug and gun distribution scheme.
Authorities said Monday that 33-year-old Damien Laron McDaniel was sentenced to several charges including possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana and using a firearm during a drug trafficking offense.
Prosecutors say McDaniel was arrested after a bust in September 2012 and had already been convicted of three prior felonies at the time of his arrest.
