LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska authorities have issued more than 460 seat belt citations and warnings during a two-week national campaign.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the “Click It or Ticket” mobilization for the state also included more than 50 child restraint citations and warnings. More than 1,800 vehicles were stopped for speeding.

The national campaign ran from May 19 through Sunday. It included the heavily traveled Memorial Day holiday weekend. A $28,000 grant helped pay troopers and others for overtime hours.

The state’s seat belt law carries a $25 fine.
