OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Three men have each been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison related to an underage sex enticement sting operated out of Tupelo last year.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1iQRAlV ) Garry Waddle, William Henry Michelletti and Jonathan Mark Hayes were sentenced Thursday in federal court in Oxford. Each was charged with enticing a minor female for sexual purposes.

Waddle, of Lee County, was convicted in February. He appealed the conviction in March but his appeal was denied in April.

Michelletti, of Lafayette County, and Hayes, of Cordova, Alabama, each pleaded guilty in July.

Authorities say the three men maintained Internet contact with someone posing as a 15-year-old female and then traveled to meet up with the contact with the presumption of having sex.
