BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - Butte-Silver Bow County officials have released the name of a 70-year-old Butte man who died of injuries suffered in an Interstate 90 crash near Homestake Pass.

Deputy Coroner Lori Durkin told The Montana Standard (https://bit.ly/1lSb6ym ) on Friday that Frank Rasmussen died Wednesday of injuries he suffered in the crash.

The Montana Highway Patrol says Rasmussen westbound on I-90 at about 8:30 p.m. Monday and traveling too fast for the wet conditions when he lost control of his car on a curve and struck a guardrail. The patrol says he wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was thrown into the car’s back seat.
