NEW YORK (AP) - Two workers have been rescued after their scaffolding malfunctioned about seven stories above a midtown Manhattan street.

The Fire Department says both workers refused medical attention. They were rescued around 9 a.m. Friday at 57th Street and Lexington Avenue.

NBC New York ( ) says it appears one side of the scaffolding became unhinged.
