WATERBURY, Vt. (AP) - Campers and others can learn how to identify poison ivy, medicinal jewelweed and other plants at an event at Little River Park in Waterbury.

The session called “The good, the bad and the really, really itchy” is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Participants are encouraged to call to confirm that the program is taking place.

They also are advised to bring water and snacks and to meet at the Nature Center.

The event is free with paid park entry.
