FLINT, Mich. (AP) - Firefighters in Flint extinguish heat. Now they’re feeling it.

WEYI-TV (https://bit.ly/ThF48j ) reports that an air conditioner has been stolen from Flint fire station No. 8. It apparently happened in an effort to get valuable metal and parts inside.

The theft of air conditioners in Flint is not new. Churches have reported robberies, included one last month at the city’s Upper Room Church.

Willie Franklin says the crime is increasing his business. He sells security cages that are intended to protect air conditioners. He says churches are becoming his best customers.
