BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police say a motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash.

The victim in Friday morning’s accident was identified as 20-year-old Eric Fabre (fah-BRAY’) of Slidell. He died at the scene.

Patrol officers responded just before 1 a.m. and found Fabre lying unresponsive in the roadway at Airline Highway and Old Hammond Highway.

Police said a witness described seeing a red or maroon carleave the scene. Police were searching for the vehicle, which may have front-end damage.
