ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Police in Albuquerque say a motorcyclist has died in a crash involving another vehicle.

Albuquerque police say a man on a motorcycle and a car somehow collided near Montgomery and Juan Tabo boulevards.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition Friday night from an accident. But he was later pronounced dead.

They are not releasing his identity or that of the driver at this time.

It is not yet known if alcohol was a factor.

Police had to close eastbound lanes of Montgomery.
