ELMWOOD, Neb. (AP) - A pavement project is expected to hamper traffic on Nebraska Highway 1 next week in eastern Nebraska.

The Nebraska Department of Roads says an oil will be sprayed on the highway surface to seal fine cracks.

The work area begins two miles south of Elmwood, runs north through town and ends a mile north of town. The project is expected to take a day.

One-lane traffic will be controlled with a pilot vehicle and flaggers.
