FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The fire department in Fargo says a truck getting off Interstate-94 and moving into Fargo spilled about 100 gallons of diesel.

The spill happened at the intersection of I-94 and 25th Street South.

Firefighters used sand, floor dry and absorbent booms to pick up and contain the small pools of fuel that formed on the street, boulevard and below a storm sewer discharge.

Authorities say the spill was caused by an eastbound truck turning from an I-94 off ramp onto 25th Street. The truck turned wide over the boulevard puncturing the right side fuel tank and drove away leaving the trail of fuel.

Authorities say law enforcement is investigating to determine who is responsible for the spill.
