HONOLULU (AP) - A 56-year-old free diver remains missing a day after disappearing in the waters off Oahu’s Kaena Point.

Rescuers from the Coast Guard and the Honolulu Fire Department conducted air and sea searches on Sunday, but have so far not located Nicholas Spotkaeff.

Spotkaeff’s son reported him missing Saturday afternoon after the two went swimming together. The son lost sight of Spotkaeff when he was on shore and his father was about 100 yards north of Kaena Point.
