BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Tulane University’s Mississippi Coast Campus will offer a series of workshops on Fridays during the summer.

Topics will vary and each session will be led by a Tulane professor.

The workshops will meet from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Cost to attend is $10 per person.

The first workshop, set for June 27, focuses on web page development design. The instructor is professor Duane Naddy.

On July 11, professor Kevan Brown will lead workshop on writing a personal memoir, which will focus on the nature of a memoir and appropriate contents.

The third summer workshop, titled “Getting to Know your IPAD,” is planned for July 18. This workshop’s instructor is professor Ron Warr. He will discuss the IPAD’s physical layout, simple navigation, various applications and other general information.

The final workshop is planned for Aug. 1 and is an introduction to the Photoshop visual imaging program. It will be taught by Warr.

The session will cover Photoshop’s design standards, screen layout, healing and repairing as well as Photoshop CS6. Participants should bring their own photos on a flash drive.
