TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Police in Tulsa are looking for a suspect in an early-morning stabbing at an east Tulsa club.

Sgt. Dave Walker says officers received a call just before 2 a.m. Sunday indicating a man was hit by a car. The Tulsa World reports (https://bit.ly/1lJP5Gi ) that first responders determined the man suffered a stab wound to the chest. Walker says a security guard was using pepper spray to disperse the crowd.

The man died later at Saint Francis Hospital. So far, detectives believe a chance meeting at the club between two gangs led to the fight, but they have not identified the stabbing victim as a gang member. However, Walker says he’s the father of some of the parties involved in the fight.

Officers do not yet have a clear suspect description.
