MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Mesa police say light rail service was suspended Sunday afternoon due to a single-vehicle crash.

Police say a truck ended up on the tracks after hitting a power pole near Dobson and Main Street.

Television station KNXV reports (https://bit.ly/1wjqoUL ) delays were initially about 20 minutes, but Valley Metro transportation officials began using buses to transport passengers in both directions.

Police say the driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
