HOUSTON (AP) - Investigators say four people have died in a Houston-area collision between an SUV and a car.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office on Monday detained the SUV driver on four counts of intoxication manslaughter.

Authorities say the driver of the car and three passengers were killed Sunday night when the SUV allegedly went through a red light and hit the smaller vehicle. Another passenger in the car was hurt and transported to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Names of the victims and the SUV driver facing charges were not immediately released.
