BRAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 12-year-old boy is dead after a four-wheeler he was riding on collided with a semi-truck in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

WLUC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1uWYo6Q ) that an initial investigation found that the boy was a passenger on the four-wheeler, which was crossing a highway in Delta County’s Brampton Township on Sunday at the time of the crash involving the truck.

The operator of the four-wheeler was treated and released. Names of those involved weren’t immediately released. The crash is under investigation.
