BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - A 9-year-old child was killed and four people were injured when an SUV overturned after being struck by another vehicle.

The crash happened Sunday night around 8:10 p.m. on Mount Holly Road in Burlington Township.

WPVI-TV in Philadelphia (http: 6abc.cm/1nYf78O) reports that a 9-year-old girl, her parents, sister and a cousin were headed to a shopping center in their SUV when a Toyota ran a red light and struck them. Police say the impact caused the SUV to overturn and hit another vehicle that was stopped at the light.

The 9-year-old was thrown from the vehicle and died at a nearby hospital. Her family members were hospitalized in stable condition. A passenger in the Toyota suffered minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
