BALDWYN, Miss. (AP) - Fire officials in Baldwyn say a single-family home was heavily damaged by fire Monday afternoon, but there were no injuries.

WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/T3PrfI ) the fire was reported at around 12:30 p.m. at the house on Latimer Street.

Officials say a woman resident was at home at the time, but escaped unharmed. A puppy in a kennel next to the house was rescued. No injuries were reported.

Officials say cause of the fire is under investigation.
