MANNING, Oregon (AP) - The driver was seriously injured Sunday when a truck carrying compressed seafood waste ran off Highway 26 near Manning and crashed into trees.

Oregon State Police say the driver was taken by LifeFlight to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland.

KGW reports (https://bit.ly/1jJbE9W) the highway was closed in both directions for several hours during the cleanup.
