RIO RANCHO, N.M. (AP) - Rio Rancho police say one man has died after his car collided with several vehicles in an intersection.

Sgt. Nicholas Onken says 34-year-old Fredrick Christensen, of Farmington, was heading eastbound on NM 550 near NM 528 around 2 p.m. Sunday when his car drove into oncoming traffic.

Onken says Christensen struck several vehicles.

Christensen was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
