FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - University of Arkansas basketball player Michael Qualls has been selected to attend the Kevin Durant Skills Academy in Washington, D.C.

The academy is for the top 30 high school and top 15 college wing players and will be held June 27-29. It’s hosted by Oklahoma City Thunder forward and NBA MVP Kevin Durant.

Qualls is the first Razorback to attend the event - which began in 2011.

Qualls averaged 11.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game as a sophomore last season with the Razorbacks.
