BRAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in Delta County have released the name of a 12-year-old boy who was killed when an off-road vehicle on which he was a passenger collided with a tractor-trailer in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Authorities say the four-wheeler was crossing a highway Sunday in Brampton Township when the truck hit it. The Daily Press of Escanaba says the victim was Wesley J. Rein, who lived nearby.

Authorities say the operator of the four-wheeler was treated and released.
