JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - A Jamestown auto dealer faces 61 misdemeanor charges for alleged improper contracts and vehicle loans.

Forty-four-year-old Brian Lee Hanson with Budget Auto Sales and Service could face more than 33 years in prison if convicted on all counts. He declined comment to The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Police Sgt. Thomas Nagel tells KQDJ radio that Hanson is accused of not following state and federal contract requirements, and of charging extremely high interest rates.
