ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) - Nearly $20,000 has been raised online for the 14-month-old baby of a woman who was killed when a car hauler crashed into the Ithaca restaurant where she was working.

The site established on GoFundMe.com for Amanda Bush has raised $19,300 for her daughter and family by Tuesday morning.

The 27-year-old bartender from Lansing, New York was killed last Friday afternoon when a truck hauling seven vehicles slammed into Simeon’s, a bistro located in downtown Ithaca. Several other people were injured.

The local chapter of the United Way also created the Amanda Bush Memorial Fund. Bush’s family designated the nonprofit to collect the contributions.

Police ticketed the truck driver for having inadequate brakes.
