SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) - The Spokane sheriff’s office says a fleeing kidnapping suspect collided head-on with a K9 deputy’s patrol car about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in Spokane Valley.

The sheriff’s office says the deputy and dog are not injured.

Detectives are investigating the possible kidnapping.
