LAFOLLETTE, Tenn. (AP) - A Tennessee man wanted in the death of a 3-year-old girl has been captured.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a statement that officers took Joshua Adam Comer of LaFollette into custody on Wednesday. The agency said the arrest came hours after Comer was added to the TBI’s most wanted list due to a grand jury indictment in Campbell County accusing him of murder in the June 10 death of his girlfriend’s daughter, Gabriella Orton.

Media report the child’s mother, Amber Orton, is charged with aggravated child neglect.

The TBI says Comer is being held without bond. Orton is being held on a $750,000 bond.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether Comer and Orton have attorneys.
