ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Chief Medical Examiner’s office has determined that a 22-month-old boy found dead in St. Johnsbury died of natural causes.

A death certificate released Thursday says 1-year-old Mason Keithan died on May 30 from bronchial asthma.

Police were called to a location on Mountain View Drive where the toddler was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

An autopsy found no signs of physical trauma.
