SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) - A Spokane Valley grocery store is closed Friday for cleanup and repairs after a fire that damaged the roof.

The fire was reported about 2 a.m. Friday at Barney’s Harvest Foods.

KHQ reports (https://nbcnews.to/1qOgzOu ) a second alarm was called because of the size of the building.

Firefighters were able to prevent flames from spreading to inside the building, but there’s smoke and water damage.
