HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a single-engine civilian aircraft made an unscheduled landing without incident at Redstone Arsenal’s airfield.

Redstone spokesman Christopher A. Colster says the plane operated by a private pilot landed at 10:21 a.m. Friday.

Colster says Redstone officials are working with the Federal Aviation Administration Flight Standards District Office in Birmingham to figure out what led to the error.

Colster said the plane would leave Redstone’s airfield Friday.
