ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) - Roseville police say a 20-year-old St. Paul man remains at large after an exhaustive search.

Officers pursued the man, believed to be armed, for several hours Friday afternoon after authorities say he threatened his girlfriend during a domestic dispute at a Roseville hotel.

A police spokesman tells the Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1pYAsR1 ) the man apparently stormed into a room before noon at the Residence Inn and allegedly physically assaulted his 19-year-old girlfriend, who had been staying with her family.

Reports that the man may have fled into a nearby office building prompted an evacuation of the building. Police cordoned off the area, and a SWAT team was called to the scene.

After a three-hour search, police found no evidence the suspect had entered the building. He remained at large Friday night.
