PARK HILL, Okla. (AP) - Officials say four people died when a fire erupted during the early morning hours in a mobile home in northeast Oklahoma.

Sam Schafnitt with the State Fire Marshal’s Office tells the Muskogee Phoenix (https://bit.ly/1q0Vrme ) that the four victims, including a 3-year-old boy, were in a bedroom when the fire started. It was reported around 2:15 a.m. Friday.

Terry Ferrel, agent supervisor with the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office, said the victims are two adult females, an adult male and the little boy. Their names have not been released pending identification.

Schafnitt said the cause of the fire remains under investigation, but there was no indication of anything suspicious.

Ferrel said four people had been able to get out while the four people who perished where unable to.
