CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan is going to be speaking at an event thanking Korean War veterans for their service to their fellow citizens.

The ceremony is taking place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Hampshire National Guard Aviation Facility in Concord.

Each June, the Korean American Society of New Hampshire hosts an annual ceremony to recognize and pay tribute to residents who served during the Korean War.

This year’s event is also co-hosted by the state of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire National Guard.
