McCONNELL, W.Va. (AP) - Police say a woman and her adult son were killed in a two-vehicle collision in Logan County.

According to media outlets, the victims are 57-year-old Rita Overbee and 27-year-old Robert Overbee, both of Princeton.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department says the accident occurred Friday morning when a Buick sedan driven by Rita Overbee crossed the center line in a curve on Route 10 rand collided with a Dodge pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Ernest Jewell II of Lenore. The Overbees, who were not wearing seat belts, were pronounced dead at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Jewell also was taken to the hospital. He was treated for minor injuries and released.
