GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Police in southern New Jersey say a road rage incident ended with one man slashing a second man.

The incident occurred in Gloucester Township on Friday afternoon. Police say 49-year-old Michael Brown of Pine Hill swung a box cutter at 55-year-old Carl Costantino of Berlin when Costantino approached his car.

When police arrived, however, Costantino declined medical attention for a cut on his hand and refused to provide a statement on the incident.

Brown drove from the scene and was apprehended a short time later at his home.

Brown has been charged with eluding police, driving with a suspended license and other motor vehicle offenses. He was being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility on $50,000 cash bail.

It wasn’t immediately known if he had retained an attorney.
