PIKE, N.Y. (AP) - A 49-year-old Buffalo-area man is facing more than 60 charges after a high-speed chase.

Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies tell the Batavia Daily News (https://bit.ly/1jCb1zg ) the pursuit began early Sunday morning after deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a campground in Holland, New York.

Deputies say Robert Feirabend of Cheektowaga had left in his pickup truck when they arrived. They radioed ahead to other deputies, who were asked to stop him.

Deputies say Feirabend refused to pull over and led them on a chase over two counties that reached speeds of 100 mph. It ended when Feirabend drove over spike strips, flattening his tires.

He faces charges of driving while intoxicated, fleeing a police officer, speeding 100 mph in a 30 mph speed zone, and numerous other traffic violations.
