FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Fires in Fargo damaged a walking bridge at a city park and prompted the evacuation of an apartment building. No one was hurt.
Authorities say the bridge fire at Johnson Park near the North Dakota State University campus about 3 a.m. Monday caused an estimated $3,000 in damage. The cause was not immediately determined.
Discarded smoking materials are listed as the cause of a blaze that started on a second-floor deck at an apartment building Sunday afternoon. All of the building’s residents safely evacuated. Damage was estimated at about $15,000.
