WEBSTER, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a 61-year-old woman has died after the motorcycle operated by her husband was involved in an accident with an SUV in Webster.

The Worcester district attorney’s office says Patricia Riendeau, of the town of Holland, was brought to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester after the accident at about 2 p.m. Sunday where she was pronounced dead.

Her husband, 57-year-old Robert Riendeau, who was operating the motorcycle, suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. He was also taken to UMass Memorial.

Authorities say the driver of the SUV, a 72-year-old East Bridgewater man, slowed down when the motorcycle ahead of him began to slow down.

He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for observation.

No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation.
