SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A 17-year-old Salem youth has been accused of attempted murder in the stabbing of another youth during a fight at a dance event at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.

The Salem Statesman Journal reports (https://stjr.nl/1rPT3OL) the fight broke out early Saturday. The suspect was arrested Sunday afternoon.

The victim was stabbed more than once and was taken to the hospital. The state police didn’t release information about his identity or condition.
