ATLANTA (AP) - A new vice president for institutional advancement and university relations has been named at Clark Atlanta University.

Officials said Wednesday that Trisa Long Paschal has been named to the post after serving as interim vice president for institutional advancement and university relations since early February.

University officials say Paschal, of Akron, Ohio has more than 25 years of experience in fundraising and administration.

Officials say Paschal began her career as a fundraising director at the University of Akron and later served as an associate vice president at Spelman College. After working there, Paschal worked as a fundraising director for the Salvation Army and director of alumni relations for the Golden Key International Honor Society, Inc.
