CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Members of New Hampshire’s congressional delegation want to know if there are secret waiting lists or long delays at the state’s lone veterans medical center after reports of problems in other states.

There have been no reports of problems at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester. U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter and Sen. Kelly Ayotte said Wednesday they have requested details about the center.

Audits at VA hospitals found falsified waiting lists that masked how long veterans had to wait to get care. The audits also found some veterans waiting over 90 days for care.

The VA is conducting a system-wide investigation after it was found that the Phoenix VA Health Care System had about 1,700 veterans in need of care on secret waiting lists.
