OXNARD, Calif. (AP) - Ventura County coroner’s officials say the name of one of those killed when a car and train collided in Oxnard cannot be released because relatives still haven’t been located.

Twenty-year-old driver Joel Anthony Arias and his 19-year-old passenger were killed Tuesday night when their car crashed into an Amtrak train. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police tell the Ventura County Star (https://bit.ly/1tLlYTA) that the car was speeding and headed south on Rice Avenue Tuesday night when the crash occurred at Fifth Street.

A lowered crossing arm was broken where the car apparently crashed through and ran into the front of the train.

The train had 92 passengers and 14 crew members but no one was hurt. It had two locomotives and 11 passenger cars.
