BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - Bristol police have arrested a 13-year-old student in connection with one in a string of bomb threats received at city schools.

School officials say the student, whose name has not been released, is charged in connection with a threat Wednesday at the Chippens Hill Middle School.

The threat was one of seven police have investigated in recent days, including one Thursday in which a letter containing a threat was discovered at the Edgewood Elementary School.

Police say threatening letters were also found Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic High School and the Stafford School.

A threat was made Tuesday against Northeast Middle School and threats were reported last week at Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central High School.

Police say they do not believe one person is responsible for the threats.
