JAMAICA, Vt. (AP) - Authorities in the Vermont town of Jamaica are hoping they can get one of their emergency road signs back.

Fire Chief Joel Beckwith says firefighters responded to a vehicle crash on Route 30 on Monday. While providing assistance, two coral “Emergency Ahead” collapsible signs were posted on the road, north and south of the crash site.

At some point, the northbound signed was removed and authorities didn’t notice until the crash scene had been removed.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact state police in Brattleboro at (802) 254-2382 or call the State Police Crime Information Tip Line at (802) 241-5355.
