STANLEY, Idaho (AP) - A wildfire burning about 10 miles south of Stanley in central Idaho remained at about 80 acres Thursday evening.

Julie Thomas, the spokeswoman on the Gold Fire, says crews have a line around the blaze. It’s expected to be contained Friday evening and controlled by Monday.

Three hotshot crews, three helicopters, six engine crews and two water tankers are assigned to fight the fire that started Tuesday.

The Sawtooth National Recreation Area has closed Forest Service Road 210.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage to structures.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
