HAY SPRINGS, Neb. (AP) - A public meeting has been scheduled on a plan to turn Walgren Lake State Recreation Area in northwest Nebraska into a waterfowl refuge.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. on June 17 at the Hay Springs Senior Center.
