OXNARD, Calif. (AP) - Firefighters in Ventura County are investigating an early morning house fire they believe started with a natural gas explosion in the city of Oxnard.
Officials tell CBS-TV that it took about 20 minutes to put out the 3 a.m. Thursday fire. Eight people were displaced as a result of the fire, which spread to two adjacent homes.
The Oxnard Fire Department says on its Facebook page that no injuries were reported.
Firefighters, police and gas company personnel remain on the scene.
