SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - The mayor of South Dakota’s largest city will travel to Potsdam, Germany next week to help christen a new streetcar named “Sioux Falls.”

Mayor Mike Huether will also give a speech in German while helping Potsdam unveil the new streetcar. Sioux Falls and Potsdam have been sister cities since 1990.

The two cities have exchanged students, nurses and business groups in the past as part of their 24-year partnership.
